The Annual Golf Marathon
Supporters donate or pledge per hole. Each marathon honors James Calcagnini and raises funds for ALS research.
2025 — Fourth Annual Marathon
September 22 at Innis Arden Golf Club, Old Greenwich, CT. Zell Seach played 101 holes. Recovering from shoulder surgery, Tom Calcagnini played 10 holes with one arm. Jeff Wright joined after work for 18 holes, while DeAnne Calcagnini cheered them on.
2024 — Third Annual Marathon
September 30 at Innis Arden Golf Club. Donald Calcagnini played 170 holes, Tom played 120, and Zell played 103. Together, they completed 393 holes over 12 hours. DeAnne offered encouragement and golf tips.
2023 — Second Annual Marathon
September 18. DeAnne, Tom, and Donald played from 7:00 a.m. until heavy rain forced the course to close at 11:30 a.m. They completed 66, 63, and 90 holes, respectively, for a total of 219 holes.
