The 3rd Annual Calcagnini ALS Foundation Golf Marathon
September 30, 2024
Hello Friends, On Monday, September 30th, we were graced with a beautiful, sunny, 70-degree day at Innis Arden Golf Club in Old Greenwich, CT for our annual Calcagnini ALS Foundation fold marathon. Once again, Tom Calcagnini, his son Donald, and Zell Seach played as many holes as possible to raise money for the Foundation. DeAnne Calcagnini came by to cheer on the golfers, give moral support and even offer a few golfing tips. Not surprisingly, the youngest member of the trio, Donald, played a whopping 170 holes. The elder statesmen, Tom and Zell, held their own and played 120 and 103 holes, respectively. After 12 hours on the course, all the golfers were walking a bit sideways. Nonetheless, they all promised to be back on the course again next year. Thanks to all of you for your donations and pledges per hole. Sorry, not sorry, that Tom, Donald and Zell racked up a combined 393 holes! We know James Calcagnini is in Heaven watchin us and we hope he is proud of our efforts. We believe he played a part in providing a perfect day for the event. We appreciated your support of the Calcagnini ALS Foundation. Best regards, Tom and Zell |

Our rain-soaked warriors – Donald, Tom, and DeAnne. |
September 18, 2023 Hello Friends, What a day our golfers had! DeAnne, Tom and Donald began golfing on Monday at 7:00 AM sharp. They had checked the weather the night before and expected rain, but were undeterred when they started to play in a little more than a drizzle. Unfortunately, the drizzle turned into a torrential downpour. All three golfers were soaked to the skin within the first hour. By 11:30 AM, the golf club officials cleared the course and insisted that all the shivering golfers return to the clubhouse. Their results were as follows: DeAnne played 66 holes, Tom played 63 and Donald played a whopping 90. Congratulations to all three golfers for playing through the deluge and accomplishing amazing results! We appreciate your support and generosity. Tom and Zell |
